RESUMO
A Covid-19, doença causadora de síndrome gripal e insuficiência respiratória aguda, vem demonstrando provocar danos a diversos outros órgãos e sistemas. Várias manifestações dermatológicas já foram descritas. Relatamos um quadro de alopecia areata (AA) desencadeada possivelmente pela Covid-19 em paciente que, apesar de ter seu RT-PCR para SARS-CoV-2 negativo, apresentou IgM reagente e sintomatologia clássica relacionada à doença. Acreditamos que a Covid-19 possa ter desencadeado resposta imunológica autoimune, com a consequente produção de interferons, que levou ao quadro de AA.
COVID-19, a disease that causes flu-like syndrome and acute respiratory failure, has been shown to cause damage to several other organs and systems. Several dermatological manifestations have been regular. We report a case of Alopecia Areata possibly triggered by COVID-19 in a patient who, despite his negative SARS-COV 2 RT- PCR, presented IgM reactor, in addition to classic symptoms related to the disease. We believe that a COVID-19 can trigger the autoimmune immune response with the consequent production of interferons that led to Alopecia areata.
RESUMO
O edema tardio intermitente e persistente (ETIP) por implante de ácido hialurônico é uma reação inflamatória imunomediada decorrente de fenômenos imunogênicos ao próprio preenchedor bem como de sua capacidade em reter água, configurando assim o edema local. Pode ser desencadeado após infecções virais ou bacterianas. Assim como em muitas doenças infectocontagiosas, a COVID-19 pode vir a apresentar na pele diversos sinais e sintomas que ainda não são completamente compreendidos, porém muitas manifestações cutâneas associadas já foram descritas. Vimos, por meio deste relato de caso, apresentar o ineditismo de uma reação do tipo ETIP, desencadeada pela infecção por Sars-CoV-2.
Persistent Intermittent Delayed Swelling (PIDS) due to hyaluronic acid implantation is an immune-mediated inflammatory reaction resulting from immunogenic phenomena to the filler itself, and its ability to retain water, thus configuring local edema. Viral or bacterial infections can trigger the condition. As with many infectious diseases, COVID-19 may have several signs and symptoms on the skin that are not yet fully understood, but many associated skin manifestations have already been described. Through this case report, we report the novelty of an ETIP-type reaction triggered by SARS-CoV-2 infection.
RESUMO
Estudio descriptivo con un abordaje cuantitativo realizado en el Centro Paraibano de Ostomizados en João Pessoa. La muestra fue de 19 participantes censados en el servicio de ostomizados, utilizándose para la recogidade datos un forrmulario con la información de la caracterización socio-demográfica de los portadores de colostomía y sus necesidades. Lo sresultados informan sobre los aspectos personales del portador de colostomía,y especialmente de los aspectos negativos para algunas necesidades en el día a día, en relación con las necesidades psicosociobiológicas, de eliminación e integridad de la piel periestomal. Los resultados de esta investigación sustentan la necesidad de la existencia del grupo de apoyo con la participación de los profesionales de la salud de las diversas especialidades implicados, para reducir la mayoría de complicaciones secundarias a las colostomías (AU)
Descriptive study with a quantitative approach realized in the Center Paraibano of Ostomized Patients of João Pessoa. The sample included 19 participants registered in the service of ostomized patients, using for the withdrawal of information a form, with information of social and demographic characteristics of the carriers of colostomy and his needs. Theresults report on personal aspects of the carrier of colostomy, and specially of the negative aspects for some needs in daily life, in relation with the psychological, social and biological needs, of elimination and integrity of the skin around the ostomy. The results of this investigation support the need ofthe existence of the group of support with the participation of health professionals for the diverse specialities implied, in order to reduce most of the side effects of the colostomies (AU)
